Happy Birthday 40K

Just a wee note to 40K.
25 years who would have thought.  I have been into 40K since White Dwarf 164 and have only missed one issue since. Yeah the Dreadfleet one, cause I wasn't paying £4.50 for the drivel that was in that is all I can say.
Anyhow heres to another 25 years.

So much to do so little time

So after the first blog here is a few bits and pieces I have been working on.
Daemonette.
Tried to get over the nature of Chaos by having one half of her hair different to the other?
Not happy with the base as it looks to large for the model
A few bits of Dark Eldar I have been painting.
The Wyches have such dynamic poses they have been a real joy to paint.
I thought I would give my Dark Eldar a wee bitty of OSL. I think the results are fairly good and the technique is fairly simple to do if you keep your paint really thin.
The Venom still has to be based up and the Wyches glued in place but overall i am really happy with it.
Space Marine Biker.
Some more Nova Hawk Space Marine's which are turning into a labour of love.
The Bolters and the right shoulder pad still has to be worked, as well as a yellow stripe painted on the road.
Some basic weathering with mud and rust pigments from Mig.

As well as all this I have been working on a mountain top/ he who dares diorama. Hopefully in the near future I will put up some pictures. The miniatures are getting modelled here and there so any pictures will be of the scenery part.
Until then.
